BIOGRAPHY
Missin Link started as a promotional company for record companies/labels/ events,etc in 1999. The company start getting a name by the way they reached the hip-hop audience by their style of making promotion and the direct way of getting the info to the audience. Two friends who were busy as independent hip-hop agents/bookers joined the company and from that point the birth of Missin’Link events (nowadays just Missin’Link) was a fact.
Roger Brouwn (Code Red) & Earl Sibelo (G.I.) are the two agents who in the beginning were pretty fed up by the way shady promoters sold and booked hip-hop shows in their HomeTown Rotterdam. By booking their own shows they thought like: let’s do it ourselves and try 2 give the people in our city some proper shows. Their first show went good and after that one both thought to bring more acts over and try to offer them to venues. From that point everything started to grow and in the 2 years that they run Missin’Link Events the venue promoters were more than happy to have 2 agents in their country who know what kind of artists they dealing with and make sure promoters get their show as promised.
Missin’Link tries to stand for quality instead of quantity therefore we don’t focuss on massive offers. Missin’Link tries to have a decent timeframe between tours and offers so there is no overkill from their side. Missin’Link offers Exclusive European Tours and has a big and close European network of steady and reliable European agents they work with. Besides the European tours they have of course their own market in control and offers around 70% of all foreign and national hip-hop and black music concerts in Holland.
Over the years Missin’Link is known as one of the better National & International Hip-Hop and Black Music agencies and for the future the focuss will be to maintain and grow to a all-round agency for the Dutch and European market.
Besides the agency Missin’Link is also developing own concepts regarding national hip-hop tours festivals and big and small day events. Besides the events, tours and bookings the company is also offering European management, Merchandise designing, production + sales, road management and ground transport for International artists/groups.
